When was Base Elements founded?
Base Elements was founded in Barcelona in 2003.
Is Base Elements a registered Company?
Base Elements is a fully registered company in Barcelona, Spain under Base Elements Gallery SL, CIF 67144576.
Do you have a gallery I can visit?
We have two galleries in the Barrio Gothic of Barcelona. You do not need an appointment and can walk straight in! For the address details and opening times of both galleries click on ‘Our Galleries’ in the menu bar.
Payments
What Debit/Credit Cards do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Can I make payment by bank transfer?
Yes. In order to make a payment by bank transfer select the bank transfer option at the checkout or alternatively, send us an email and we will reserve the artwork and send you an email with the banking information for a bank transfer payment.
Can I make payments via installments? At present we do not facilitate payments via installments.
Delivery
Which countries do you ship?
We currently ship to all countries in the world.
What is the delivery time of the product?
The product will be prepared for shipment and sent within ten working days of receiving the paid order.
Can I track my shipment?
All shipments are trackable online. You will receive an email notification with a tracking number and a link to track your package directly with the courier company once your order has been processed.
What are the shipping fees?
We offer free shipping within Spain. For Europe and the rest of the world, fees will be calculated once the order has been processed. You will receive an email within 24-48 hours after order confirmation with the shipment fee breakdown and a link to make payment. We work in this way to ensure all customs and import fees are included and so there are no additional hidden fees on product delivery.
Are all shipments insured?
All shipments and pricing include insurance. Before signing and agreeing to receive your shipment you must inspect the package and the product inside to ensure the product is not damaged and in perfect condition. Only sign and agree to receive the shipment once you have inspected it. Failure to check the product before signing for the shipment may result in the insurance being null and void if the product is found to be damaged later.
Returns
Can I return a product?
Yes. All products can be returned up to 30 days after the product has been purchased or received, whichever date is the latter. The product needs to be returned in its original condition and carefully packed.
Who is responsible for the return shipping fees?
The return shipping fees are at the expense of the customer. If the product is found to be damaged and delivery was refused, we will be held responsible for the return shipping fees.
What happens if the product I return is damaged in transit back to you?
If a product is returned by the customer and damaged in transit then the customer is liable for the cost of the product. We always suggest paying for insurance when sending a return to us.
I received a damaged product, what should I do?
Before signing and agreeing to receive your shipment you must inspect the package and the product inside to ensure the product is not damaged and in perfect condition. Only sign and agree to receive the shipment once you have inspected it. If the product is damaged, take a picture of the damage, refuse delivery and send us an email stating the reason for delivery refusal and the pictures of the damaged product. We will then respond with options to put this issue right.
