Claudio Drë started painting walls in Chile in the mid 90`s. After a while studying images and rendering shapes, he experimented on canvas through oil, acrylic and spray.

He paints abstract asymmetrically, which contrast with the improvised straight lines that cross the picture in different directions. Geometric structures and patterns levitate space, intersect, disintegrate and move at different rates and velocities, suggesting a harmonious controlled chaos amid feelings of depth, atmosphere and perspective.

“It is my relationship with emptiness and matter in its permanent composition and decomposition, which insists on presenting these mental landscapes. In them, I am interested in plotting the invisible, giving color and shape to the vibration, presenting those impulses that move us to do and to be.”
