A work is an expression of several feelings. It tanslates our inquitude, our anguish, also our happiness and all the topics for which the artist wonders likewise and exposes it in the linen.

The excitation or the nervousness in which the artist is at the moment of his creation will be found at the work, and many times he'll beging his work without knowing how he'll finish it.

J.M. Pajares is self-taught and he didn't assist to the institute of Fine Arts. In a style that is his, considers that his work should remain in an investigation field for the experimentation of the mix technique. This way he realizes his works of instinct, interpreting to the moment that receives them, the feelings that he catches doing the work, alwasy using the coulours in a very architectural way.

The values and the faith or the artists of the beginning of the twentieth century such as Picasso, Monet or Miró, who have not hesitated to impose their personal and revolutionary styles of their vision of the forms and colours or the light, have allowed Pajares of being today the artist who is.

An artist who expresses with freedom of squeezing his way of seeing things and with this singularity, always respecting a strict order in the execution of the forms and lines, in conformity with his ways of living.

The discovery of New York was a very important stage in the reflection of his work and a lot of works talk about this city.

A way of doing an honouring to this metropolis that has received him, always taking him in an eternal travel.

"Believe in what we do, go up to what we believe". This could be the definition of Joan Manel Pajares.
